Posted on May 31, 2020June 2, 2020Long time coming but North Raymond Organics website is up and running!! This 2020 sugaring season was an interesting one for sure. I was tied up boiling and operating the new sugar house at my place of work Pineland Farms. Duties at home were taken on by Jonah (14) since he was home for school and willing to earn some cash. We tapped the trees together but for the most part all of the boiling this year was done by him. He hauled over 200 gallons of sap by hand and spent countless hours splitting and stacking firewood, firing the evaporator learning the in’s and out’s of the sugaring process. He was up past midnight some nights (once he learned he could keep all proceeds :-) and kept the evaporator cranking throughout the day while the sap was running. Super proud dad right here !! First order of business after getting some content on the site is to hire a young aspiring artist (Coben???) to design the logo for our site and the design for some shirts, hats and other cool items that I’m sure you will all enjoy ….. Lets Gooooo !!!!!
